The companion browser extension is the bridge between a product page viewed by the administrator and the Lestari Importer staging area in WordPress. The extension does the page-side reading; the WordPress plugin receives authenticated payloads and keeps the final publishing decision inside WooCommerce.
The pairing flow starts in WordPress admin. An administrator generates a short-lived 6-digit code, then enters it in the extension. After pairing, the extension uses a site token and request signature to send imports to the WordPress REST endpoint.

Extension details (confirmed from source)
The companion extension uses Manifest V3, requires Chrome 120 or later, and runs on shopee.co.id and shopee.sg product pages. It requests storage, alarms, and sidePanel permissions. The extension uses a side panel interface for site management and import controls.

Troubleshooting
Pairing code expired: Generate a new code and try again.
Site URL mismatch: Confirm the WordPress site URL matches the extension's paired site.
CORS error: Confirm HTTPS and that security plugins do not block REST API requests.
WooCommerce inactive: Activate WooCommerce before publishing products.
Pro features not available: Confirm Pro is installed and licensed.
The pairing code is short-lived and single-use. After pairing, the extension stores a site token and uses HMAC-SHA256 request signatures. Product data is sent only when the administrator initiates an import action. The extension does not send data automatically or in the background without administrator action.
