Normal product import data is intended to flow into the store owner's own WordPress site. Do not send private customer data, order records, credentials, license keys, or pairing tokens through public support channels.
Normal import data flow
Lestari Importer is designed so selected product-page data flows into the store owner's WordPress site through a paired browser extension and the site REST endpoint. In normal import operation, the WordPress plugin receives data from the extension and does not contact Shopee servers itself.
What the core plugin stores
The core plugin may store staging product rows, staging item rows, plugin settings, pairing state, site tokens, optional keep-data settings, source IDs used for duplicate detection, and a bounded local bug-report log. Published products and media are stored inside WordPress and WooCommerce when the administrator chooses to publish.
Companion extension data handling
The companion extension is intended to work on supported product pages and send selected product-page data to the paired WordPress site. Pairing should be performed only by an authorized site administrator. Administrators should remove or rotate pairing credentials if a browser profile is no longer trusted.
Report-a-Bug feature
The Report-a-Bug feature sends data only when an administrator submits the form. A submission can include a typed subject, typed message, optional reply-to email, optional image attachments, and optional diagnostics preview. The diagnostics preview does not automatically include WooCommerce orders, customer data, product data, license keys, pairing tokens, site users, or a list of active plugins.
Lestari Importer Pro license service
Lestari Importer Pro connects to the Markas Studio license service when an administrator activates, deactivates, validates, or refreshes a Pro license. License requests may include the license key, normalized site URL, plugin slug, plugin version, and request metadata needed for signed validation. Product data, WooCommerce orders, customer data, pairing tokens, and bug-report attachments are not sent to the license endpoint as part of normal license validation.
Public content telemetry
This public-content plugin can record lightweight page-view, click, and impression events for generated pages. Administrator sessions are excluded by default. Events are sent asynchronously through protected WordPress requests, and IP addresses are stored as salted hashes rather than raw IP addresses.
Security and retention guidance
Keep WordPress, WooCommerce, Lestari Importer, Pro, the extension, and this public-content plugin updated. Use HTTPS in production. Restrict administrator accounts. Review telemetry and diagnostic logs periodically and clear them when they are no longer needed.
