TalkDock Terms of Use

Effective date: June 1, 2026.

These Terms describe the conditions for accessing TalkDock public pages, documentation, support resources, bug-report workflows, Free plugin materials, Pro information, and related software services from Markas Studio.

This page is provided for transparency and plugin-compliance purposes. It is not legal advice for your own website or business.

1. Acceptance and scope

By accessing TalkDock public pages, using TalkDock-related documentation, requesting support, submitting a bug report, or using TalkDock plugin packages, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the related services or materials.

These Terms apply to public TalkDock resource pages, support workflows, bug-report communications, product information, and software services maintained by Markas Studio.

2. Software licenses and platform names

TalkDock plugin packages may include open-source components and may be distributed under license terms stated in each plugin package, including GPL-compatible terms where applicable. Your rights to use, copy, modify, and distribute software are governed by the applicable license included with that software.

WordPress, WooCommerce, WhatsApp, Meta, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and other third-party names or marks belong to their respective owners. TalkDock is independent software and is not officially endorsed by or affiliated with those providers unless expressly stated in writing.

  • You are responsible for testing plugins before using them on a production site.
  • You are responsible for keeping WordPress, themes, plugins, PHP, and server software updated.
  • You are responsible for complying with laws and contracts that apply to your website, contact channels, privacy notices, analytics, and customer communications.

3. Support, diagnostics, and bug reports

Markas Studio may provide documentation, support resources, and a bug-report receiver for administrator-submitted reports. Support availability, response time, and scope may vary by product version, license status, workload, and the completeness of the information provided.

When an administrator submits a bug report through TalkDock, the report may be sent to https://projects.markas.cloud/wp-json/markas/v1/plugin-bug. That endpoint is used to receive support and diagnostic information and is described in the Privacy Policy.

  • Do not send passwords, private keys, payment data, or customer secrets through support forms or screenshots.
  • We may decline support requests involving abuse, spam, illegal activity, unsupported modifications, or incomplete reproduction details.
  • We may use non-confidential bug-report details to improve plugin reliability, compatibility, documentation, and review compliance.

4. TalkDock Pro and commercial terms

TalkDock Pro information is maintained at https://studio.markashosting.com/plugins/talkdock/talkdock-pro/. Features, prices, renewal rules, refund terms, license limits, support scope, and availability may change. Commercial terms shown at purchase or subscription time control that transaction.

A Pro license unlocks license-gated features while valid. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, paid access does not guarantee custom development, emergency support, compatibility with every theme or plugin, uninterrupted third-party services, or successful third-party analytics delivery.

5. External services and site-owner responsibility

TalkDock may link visitors to WhatsApp after a click, may optionally fire events to analytics scripts already loaded by the site, may communicate with the Markas license API for Pro licensing, and may send administrator-submitted bug reports to the Markas bug receiver. Third-party platforms remain responsible for their own services.

Site owners decide how to configure WhatsApp numbers, agents, avatar URLs, consent text, analytics settings, privacy notices, and customer follow-up workflows.

  • Review WhatsApp, Meta, Google, hosting, email, payment, and other provider terms before using those services with your site.
  • Do not configure misleading destinations or deceptive contact flows.
  • Publish your own privacy policy if your website collects, stores, or shares visitor information.

6. No misuse

You agree not to misuse the website, plugin materials, support channels, licensing systems, reporting systems, or public pages. Misuse includes unauthorized access attempts, malicious files, deceptive reports, disruptive scraping, interference with service operation, or unlawful activity.

  • Do not attempt to bypass license gates, security checks, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Do not impersonate another person, business, reviewer, customer, or platform representative.
  • Do not use TalkDock materials to mislead visitors about affiliation, endorsement, privacy practices, or support availability.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The public pages, documentation, examples, support resources, and software are provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not promise that every feature will meet every business requirement or that every environment will be free from conflicts.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Markas Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the website, documentation, support resources, plugin materials, or related services.

8. Changes, language, and contact

We may update these Terms as products, documentation, support processes, legal requirements, or review requirements change. The effective date indicates the latest published version.

These pages may be provided in English and Indonesian for accessibility and convenience. If a translation creates ambiguity, the English version may be used as the primary reference unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

For questions about these Terms, use the TalkDock support page at https://studio.markashosting.com/plugins/talkdock/support/.
